Our Illuminate Transformation program is the next step after our foundational Ignite program.

Transcending conventional psychology or yoga—it's much more than a physical practice or mind-based process. It represents the culmination of Martine's skills and insights from over two decades as a therapist and yoga therapist specialising in trauma and stress disorders.

The illuminate program offers what traditional approaches often miss: a safe space to both heal AND integrate. Because true transformation requires both.

The Illuminate curriculum:
A four-month journey to wholeness

  • Theme: Who am I beneath the survival strategies?

    Healing is not a matter of willpower. It's a matter of understanding with compassion.

    We begin by exploring:

    • Who am I beyond my personas?

    • Why am I here in this program?

    • What do I tell myself about wellness?

    • Why am I stuck in survival mode?

    During this foundational month, we'll:

    • Shatter the shame/guilt complex—understanding the brain's role in keeping you in survival mode

    • Explore feeling unsafe, chronic fear, and trauma expressions of fear

    • Examine Maslow's hierarchy of needs

    • Re-establish the basic needs to support your body out of survival mode

    • Focus on setting boundaries

    • Introduce shadow work—what are your protectors?

    • Begin the delicate process of integration

    • Create a safe container

    • Learn somatic yoga prescriptions for self-regulation

    • Practice safety & stabilisation techniques

  • Theme: Reconnecting with your body's wisdom

    Trauma is the main cause of disembodiment—a deep disconnection from your body, a lack of flow between mind, body, and gut.

    Now that you have a path to care for your basic needs, we can move with your system's need for safety—reclaiming a sense of safety in your body.

    During this month, we'll focus on embodiment—not just having a body but experiencing life through conscious awareness and a sense of being. To learn to feel at home in your body.

    We'll explore:

    • Nutrition and the microbiome

    • Food and mood connection

    • Sleep regulation

    • Digestion and its role in wellbeing

    • Inflammation

    • Pain management

    • Immune system function

    • The chakra system

    • Anatomy of emotions

    • Body armoring

    • The 3 brains (head, heart, gut)

    Now that you've established safety and embodiment, we'll focus on nervous system regulation and neuroplasticity—practicing new ways of being and establishing new neural pathways to allow space for change and prepare for integration.

    • Unpacking core beliefs about self

    • The autonomic nervous system and your unique expression

    • Epigenetics—you are not limited by your genetics

    • Knowing your worth

    • Learning to nurture your inner child

    • How stress, shock and trauma accumulate in our bodies

    • Working with protective parts

    Through practices like:

    • Yoga for anxiety and depression

    • Intention setting

    • Getting to know your protectors

    • Finding your authentic voice

    • The pillars of mindfulness

    In this culminating month, we go deeper into integration—the final piece of the transformation puzzle.

    Once previously split-off parts of self and memory are available to you in a body that can hold space for you, we can support the reintegration of your authentic self. This means rewriting the narrative of your story, retraining your brain from its role as your warning system (constantly assessing danger everywhere).

    We'll explore:

    • Attachment wounding sequences

    • Validating and releasing fear, shame, guilt and anger

    • Building intimacy in relationships

    • Self-compassion practices

    • Reconnecting with intuition

    • Assertiveness in communication

    • Understanding the hormones of relationships

    • Living in balance mentally, emotionally and physically

Trauma Therapist, Trauma Yoga Facilitator/Trainer, and Trauma Educator with a passion for supporting others to live, love, and heal.
