Yoga for Embodiment & Healing

100-Hour Professional Training.

Transform your practice.
Elevate your impact.

You want to help your clients see the change they came to you for – but there seems to be something missing from your approach?

The Yoga for Embodiment & Healing certification goes beyond traditional yoga training to equip professionals like yourself with the profound understanding of body-mind connection that leads to deeper transformations.

For professionals who sense there's more to healing

Do you work with clients, students, or patients who:

  • Struggle with anxiety, depression, or trauma symptoms

  • Feel disconnected from their bodies

  • Experience physical symptoms with emotional origins

  • Need more than traditional cognitive approaches

  • Have tried talk therapy without lasting results

The modern mental health landscape increasingly recognises that true healing happens through the body. Yet, most practitioners lack the specific training to effectively address the nervous system directly.

This training bridges that gap.

The missing piece in mental health, Yoga therapy and general wellness training

Over the past decade, neuroscience has revolutionised our understanding of trauma, stress, and healing. We now know that trauma resides in the body and that the fear system operates through the nervous system—not just the thinking mind.

As a mental health professional, yoga teacher, or wellness practitioner, your ability to work effectively with the body determines your capacity to facilitate profound change for your clients.

The Yoga for Embodiment & Healing certification equips you with evidence-based tools to:

  • Recognise and respond to nervous system dysregulation

  • Create safety in the body as a foundation for all other work

  • Facilitate trauma-sensitive movement practices

  • Understand the neuroscience of stress, trauma, and resilience

  • Apply polyvagal theory in practical, accessible ways

  • Tailor your approach to individual nervous system patterns

  • Build confidence working with clients experiencing mental health challenges

As a mental health professional, yoga teacher, or wellness practitioner, your ability to work effectively with the body determines your capacity to facilitate profound change for your clients.

Led by Martine Coates:
Where clinical expertise meets embodied wisdom

This training is the culmination of Martine's 30+ years as a Psychotherapist and Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator following extensive training with world-renowned trauma experts, including Bessel van der Kolk. Having witnessed the limitations of traditional talk therapy firsthand, Martine developed this comprehensive approach that honours both scientific rigor and the body's innate healing wisdom.

Unlike programs that merely overlay trauma language onto standard yoga teacher training, this certification was developed from the ground up by a clinician who has dedicated her life to understanding the intersection of somatics, neuroscience, and healing.
